Friday, October 2, 2020 | Fall Semester 2020

ISSS and the International Education Week Committee invite musically talented individuals or groups to submit proposals to be performed during the International Education Week "One World Concert!"
We want to share the music of different genres, styles, instruments, and cultures during this concert. The stage is yours if you like to sing in the shower, at a Karaoke Bar, or perform at a music hall!
The concert will be a mix of pre-recorded videos and live performances! Audiences will tune in via Zoom. We encourage you to submit a short video clip of your previous work in the proposal as an audition. Up to 10 performances will be selected.

Proposal Deadline: Sunday, October 25, 2020
Concert Date: Monday, November 16, 7:00-8:00 pm ET

Immigration Tip
Get ready for Spring 2021!

The Spring 2021 calendar has now been updated and is available to view online. The start date and end date of the semester have not changed. However, Spring Break has been eliminated. Instead, there will be 5 "reading days" (with no classes) scheduled at various times during the semester.

Registration for spring semester is scheduled to take place in late October or early November. Miami is currently working on updating the course list for spring. At this time, we do not yet know how many courses will be available in-person versus online. In addition, we have not yet received guidance from the Department of Homeland Security regarding policies for online enrollment and maintenance of status in spring semester. We will be sure to keep you updated as we learn more. We hope to be able to see your faces again in the spring!
