- CTO is recruiting for 10 posted roles, with over 55 open positions across functions. Additional roles will be posted within the next week, which include Clinical Trial Activation, IIT Support, and a specialized role in Training and Education of staff and investigators. Review these roles and apply if any align with your unique skillsets and interests.

Fifty-one trials have entered Fast Lane, 11 of which have been activated to date across the Lung, Breast, GU, Gyn, H&N, BMT, Skin and ET disease teams. CTO thanks the cross-functional teams across campus for their outstanding efforts to prioritize these high-priority trials for Moores patients.

The retrospective review of the active portfolio against the Balanced Scorecard is ongoing, with over 64 reviews submitted to-date by Disease Teams. Over 14 process improvement opportunities are underway for the Business and Finance Process Workstream, with completion on track for the month of November. Kudos to the CTO PMs and the members of the Business and Finance Process workstream for their continued support of these essential initiatives.
- The Data and Technology Workstream has continued the development of reporting dashboards to track study statuses and patient data.

Predictive Modeling in Biology and Medicine Conference

The conference will address recent progress in mathematical and computational modeling of biological systems, model translational predictions in biology and medicine, and data-driven and machine learning methodologies in biology. The conference will bring together researchers and work to promote interdisciplinary collaborations and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). A special sub-workshop on the development of DEI in education and research will be held on the first day of the conference, November 17, 2023.
