Future Travel - Full of Hope!
Future Travel - Full of Hope!

Dear Traveling Friends,

March is blowing in and with it a renewed lust for travel. When I met with our Holy Land group last week, they wanted to know all the details of what travel would look like in late 2021. I can only surmise that it will all be ok. If you need to get the vaccine, get the vaccine. If you need to test to travel, just do it.  With a renewed sense of hope, many Americans are taking advantage of that feeling, looking ahead and planning their next vacations. The rest of this newsletter will tell you about some of the travel opportunities that can happen imediately and some that can happend later this year and on into 2022. Enjoy the read and then go out and enjoy this beautiful spring!

People crave freedom, exploration, and the ability to see new sights, meet new people and experience new things.

These are all doable right now!

I have had several calls lately from clients who are disappointed to learn that their spring trips to Europe have been cancelled. They really want to travel and want to know what is open NOW. So…for your planning purposes, call me to book anything in the US. Alaska is open but not for any cruises that have Canada as a port until next spring. So, a fly and land tour would be a good option or American Cruiselines offers small ship sailing in Glacier Bay (75% capacity) and various ports but goes in and out of Juneau. Hawaii and Mexico are open as well as most Caribbean islands, so this would be a good time to read the Sandals and Beaches article below for details on those properties. How about Costa Rica or closer to home in the Florida Keys?  Interested in our National Parks? I can help you plan a great fly/drive combo!

I am ready to travel later this year or in 2022!

The world is your oyster! With easy cancellation fees and super pricing, go ahead and reserve a cruise for travel in the six to eighteen-month range from now. The cruiselines will return with safety protocols and reduced capacity for the near future. I expect river cruises to return to Europe later this year with ocean cruising not far behind.

Sandals and Beaches Resorts

As a Sandals Certified Specialist, I am able to introduce you to unique properties in these brands across 8 Caribbean islands and 19 properties. Many of these resorts are non-stop from Atlanta! So many safety protocols are in place from the time you step off the plane, you will have no qualms about a vacation to any of these island resorts. This is a great alternative to cruising during this pause in cruise operations.  For the past 23 years, they are the world’s leading all-inclusive resort. Consider this:
  • 5-Star Global Dining and premium spirits where you can dine round the world and stay in one resort
  • Luxurious rooms and the Caribbean’s most unique suites
  • Concierge, Club, and Butler services assure the ultimate guest experience
  • Golf, tennis, and pickleball available along with free water sports including snorkeling and scuba
  • The Beaches family resorts include waterparks, children’s camps, childcare, and award-wining autism services
  • On-Site Caribbean adventures provided by Island Routes who can hook you up with 500 + tours  on the islands
  • Group trips including wedding, friend’s, family multi-generational trips, “re-tie the knot” ceremonies. Weddings can be almost free with Sandals when rooms are booked!
Sandals has all of this! I am happy to work with you to help you decide which are the best properties for your style, interests, and budget.
