Hello parents and families!
We are excited to announce Explore UW-Platteville, an optional, in-person event for new first-year students at all three campuses: UW-Platteville, UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County, and UW-Platteville Richland.
Students can choose to attend one session for their campus.
UW-Platteville: Choose one day from July 19 through July 23.
UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County: Choose either July 13 (morning) or July 16 (afternoon).
UW-Platteville Richland: Choose either July 13 (afternoon) or July 16 (morning).
Your student has received an email inviting them to register for one of these events. Please check in with your student for more details and encourage them to reserve their spot right away if they are interested, as this event will have a limited capacity!
The event will include presentations from campus departments for students and guests and opportunities for new students to explore campus and make connections with other new students.
Each student is encouraged to bring one guest to accompany them, and there will be sessions specifically for guests. If your student would like to bring one additional guest, please contact us for further information.
Note: The Platteville campus event is reserved for students not participating in a summer bridge program in 2021, such as the SUCCEED program.
