Each session will begin with sharing a little about the writing projects we are working on before transitioning into writing time for the next ~45 minutes. Drop in for an hour to share a conversation in Spanish with a Faculty in Residence who is a native speaker. This is a relaxed setting for people in our community to enjoy talking and practicing language together. Fluent Spanish speakers can help those who are learning Spanish. Fluent speakers of other languages can help people who are learning those languages. We will start with brief introductions, but guests are welcome to enjoy casual conversation about diverse topics. The facilitator, Arturo Sotomayor, is a native of Mexico, who has expertise on Latin American affairs and teaches courses on international security at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
