Dear Logger grads, friends, and families,
You are receiving this email as either you, or someone within your party, has requested accommodations for the Commencement Ceremony. There are specific seating sections within the stadium for guests who may need ground-level seating, or seating near captioning and/or an American Sign Language interpreter. The gates for the stadium open at noon and seats are available within the following sections:
  • A designated, ground-level seating section will be reserved for guests who may have mobility limitations within the stadium near the entrance.
  • An American Sign Language interpreter will be located on the east side of Peyton Field; there will be reserved seating near the interpreter.
Commencement ushers inside the gate will gladly guide guests in need of these accommodations to the appropriate seating section. The whole section is reserved for those who may need the seating, but specific seats are not assigned. Please note that the seating on the field is not covered, so please be prepared for weather and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, caps, umbrellas, raincoats, etc. Rain ponchos will also be provided underneath each seat on the field.
There are a limited number of seats available for family members accompanying these guests, so we ask that one family member per party join the guest with accommodations in these sections. Once the ceremony starts we will open up the sections so more guests can join their party if capacity allows.
Accessible parking will be available in Lot 3, directly across from Baker Stadium. Additional lots with accessible parking can be found using our interactive map, or printable campus map.
The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations will be happy to help answer your Commencement-related inquiries. Please contact us at 253.879.3245 or alumoffice@pugetsound.edu.

Sincerely,
