Jaclynn Herbein, a recent graduate of the Master of Architecture program with a certificate in Urban and Community Design, was named recipient of the Student Design Leadership Award at this year's Scholarship Convocation Ceremony. This distinction from the Design Leadership Alliance (DLA) honors HCOA graduates who exhibit outstanding attributes.
While completing her master's degree, Jaclynn was a member of Tau Sigma Delta and Texas Tech’s Club Gymnastics team and also served as a member of the HCOA Building Advisory Committee. In addition to her academic and extracurricular activities, she also worked part-time as a competitive gymnastics coach.
During her time as a student, Jaclynn also held teaching assistant and summer research assistant positions at the HCOA.
Following her graduation, she hopes to continue her career on the East Coast.
