Financial Disclosure Requirements |
To ensure research integrity and compliance, Tarleton State requires investigators to disclose and manage any financial interests that could affect research activities.
Investigators must submit a Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) disclosure in MAESTRO within 30 days of employment and within 30 days of acquiring a new Significant Financial Interest (SFI) before participating in PHS-funded research.
The FCOI Official reviews all disclosures to determine whether an SFI is related to an investigator's research and constitutes an FCOI. When a conflict is identified, the investigator will work with the COI Official to develop a Management Plan to manage, reduce or eliminate the conflict and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

In response to the TAMUS Research Excellence Fund (REF) solicitation, RIED has developed the following webpage to provide Tarleton State researchers with the internal REF submission information and guidelines: Tarleton State Submission Details & Requirements
Please note that Tarleton State has a limit on the total number of proposal submissions and awarded projects we can receive. To enable RIED to review, approve and submit a proposal, an internal deadline has been set for each REF program.
We strongly encourage you to strategically connect with your TAMUS colleagues for collaborative support on REF proposals that are external to Tarleton State's submissions. As needed, RIED is here to facilitate cross-institutional collaboration for Tarleton State faculty and researchers.

No NOISE Form is required for TAMUS REF proposal submission.
