Interim Meeting is tomorrow Saturday, November 15th at Baltimore Monthly Meeting, Stony Run. Agenda items include:

Proposal to form BYM Quaker Camps, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYM, to govern and operate the camps
- Update from Faith & Practice on 2026 update to the section on "Prejudice and Discrimination"
- Two requests of Monthly Meetings from Peace & Social Concerns
- First reading of the 2026 operating budget

In-person hospitality will begin at 11:00am. Meeting for Worship for the Conduct of Business will begin at 12:30pm. The Zoom Link has been emailed to all registered participants and is posted to the Business Meetings homepage.

BYM Camps Early Registration Opens TOMORROW!
|
BYM Camps Priority Registration for Summer 2026 opens tomorrow, November 15th vis this Priority Registration Link! Although we want you to spread the good word of our camps, this link is only for BYM members, camp alumni, and 2025 returning camp families. This link will go live on Sat, Nov 15th at 12pm - and will not work until then. We have made some exciting changes to our session options this year, so please take a look at our website for the session dates and descriptions. Priority registration will continue until Nov 30th. After that, regular BYM Camps Registration will open on December 15th. If you have any questions, please reach out to info@bymcamps.org or call 301-761-3300. We are more than happy to assist with registration!

Frank Massey to Share Experience of West Bank Olive Harvest, Nov 23
|
BYM Friend Frank Massey will speak about his recent trip to West Bank helping Palestinians with harvesting of olive oil. He will speak at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 23 at the Lyceum of Sandy Spring Friends Meeting after meeting for worship at 11:00 in the Meeting House. Light lunch will be provided at 12:15.

| FGC Adopts New Governance Model
|
Friends General Conference (FGC), the North American association of Liberal and Unprogrammed Quaker meetings, has adopted a new governance structure. The change aims to better serve meetings, enhance diversity, expand volunteer opportunities, and align decision-making with FGC’s mission and values. The decision came during FGC’s Central Committee Annual Sessions after extensive discernment.

Hopewell-Centre Meeting invites Friends to a Coming to the Table event on Nov 20th at 6:30pm. Please join us in person or via Zoom. Some of these Quaker solutions could inspire us to be change-makers in ways small and large during today's harrowing events in our nation.

| Stony Run Carol Sing, Dec 7 and 14
|
Every December, for more than the last 50, Stony Run Friends Meeting has celebrated the holidays by hosting our cherished community Carol Sings. This year, we welcome Sandy Robson (professionally known as Letitia VanSant) as our song leader. Sandy attended Stony Run during her high school years and has served on the staff of BYM Camps at Opequon and Teen Adventure. Dec 7th @ 5pm and Dec 14th @ 7pm. Both dates followed by cookies!
