April Events!
April Events!

Thank you Nederland!

Thank you for your donations and purchases to the Library Foundation for Unicef Ukraine.
The Foundation will soon be sharing exactly how much money was raised, but there's no doubt the home-baked goods were a fundraising hit.
If your sweet tooth and big heart are looking for another delicious way to show your support of Ukraine, St. Rita's is hosting their Ned-famous  Cinnamon Roll Fundraiser Saturday, April 23rd from 7AM-11am, while supplies last.
Get in line behind the librarians!

Spring is on its way!

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need."--Cicero
Join Kendra Trauth of both the Nederland Food Pantry and the Nederland Library to learn how you go about getting in on one of the best kept secrets in town.

Erin O’Brien of the Mountain Communities Growing Co-operative (formerly the Seed Lending Library) will be on hand to share information about her mission of growing and saving regionally adapted plants and seeds.

We will also touch on a few basic high altitude, short season growing tips for those new to gardening in the mountains.
There will be give-aways, so please be sure to register for this event here.

Enjoy our library art gallery.

Linda Jacobson is our featured artist this month.  She shares with us, "In all my art, I strive for a sense of wonder and awe, a feeling that a veil has been pulled back to reveal something unknown."
