Dear Friends:
Stepping out on the front porch, in October here in Alabama, with 90 degree weather, and air conditioning still a must, it is hard to think about colder nights coming soon. But with the recent concreting of our Buddy's Barn area, we just realized that filling dog houses each winter with hay, like we normally do, is out of the question this year with our new grates and drains. They would quickly become clogged.
So even with our new tarps up, we still need to wrap dog houses in blankets both inside and out to keep the dogs warm. We sure could use the following:
♥Old blankets ♥Old towels ♥Bath rugs
For those of you in Lee County, Fur Buds, 3600 Pepperell Pkwy, in Opelika has graciously offered to be a drop off place for us for your gifts of blankets, and as always Rescue K911 in Camp Hill, is always available to take your kind donations.
On behalf of all of our rescued dogs, we thank you from our hearts, Bow-Wow!
Larry & Loraine
