Reminder: ProctorU Account Sign-up and Extension
With the switch to online courses, some instructors are using ProctorU for their exams, which is a service for proctoring high-stakes tests that will be free for all students this semester. If you are unsure of whether ProctorU will be used for your final exams, we recommend you reach out to your instructors immediately to verify.

Prior to taking an exam using ProctorU, you must first sign up for an account and install the ProctorU extension to your Chrome browser. Because it can take up to 48 hours for new accounts to be approved, you should do this as soon as possible, well before your final exams, to ensure your test-taking experience is a smooth one.

View the ProctorU Setup for Students page for more information on how to install the extension and sign up for an account.

If you have any questions pertaining to ProctorU, enrolling in a ProctorU account, or technical questions about online finals, please email classhelp@utah.edu.
