Meet the Brown Family


Steve and Jill Brown of Sumner County are passionate about supporting Tennessee 4-H because the organization has played a big role in their family for decades.
Both Steve and Jill participated in 4-H beginning in fourth grade, and their two adult daughters, Hannah and Hadley, were also very active in 4-H, including meeting Hannah's husband, Austin Parker.

Tennessee Brings Home the Gold at the First Ever National 4-H Soccer Cup


Franklin County 4-H brought home the trophy – and bragging rights – for Tennessee in March 2025 when they won the first-ever National 4-H Soccer Cup in Washington, D.C. The soccer competition was part of a five-day event called “Ignite by 4-H” hosted by the National 4-H Council. 
“The event featured workshops on sports integrity, coaching and other topics – not just athletics,” says Hunter Isbell, county Extension agent. “It connected the game of soccer with real-world learning, which is what 4-H does so well. Representing Tennessee and then winning was unforgettable.”

Wondering How to Give to Tennessee 4-H?

Tennessee 4-H is beyond blessed with generous donors and sponsors. Folks from all over the state and from so many diverse organizations give their time, talents and gifts to better the future of our country through Tennessee 4-H’ers.
These students can afford to attend 4-H camp, which sparks their interest from a young age. Some are granted scholarships and thrive in college and eventually in their careers. Others receive awards and recognition for their outstanding project work or service projects. Tennessee 4-H is able to do the incredible work it does because of the generous sponsors, like you.
However, you might be thinking, “I don’t have any time and not much money to give,” but every bit of every gift given to Tennessee 4-H is welcomed and appreciated.
