Chloe Pargmann-Hayes '24 spent her summer interning for the Black Lives Matter mural project in downtown Tacoma. Pargmann-Hayes is also active in advocacy work on campus, including serving as director of equity, inclusion, and justice for ASUPS, where she's working to launch a student justice board. "We can’t change the demographics of the university overnight, so we have to work to create a more culturally aware space with the community we have, and that starts with educating people and starting a conversation," she says.
