Erwin Cabrera, executive director of the Simons STEM Scholars Program, has gathered what he considers "the greatest group of heroes since Marvel’s dream team" – his colleagues Brady Brick, Marie-Line Lubin and Natasha McCombs. Together, they’re running the new program that helps underrepresented STEM students thrive as undergraduates, postgraduates and, eventually, as working professionals. Their endgame is to promote diversity in STEM-related fields ...

The annual plant sale to support Stony Brook University Hospital’s rooftop farm will be held Wednesday, May 10, outside at the farm (HSC Level 3). We're also accepting and encouraging pre-order forms by Friday, May 5, and will have two pickup locations (on East and West Campus) this year for pre-orders.

Strategic Planning Opportunities
Provost Carl Lejuez shared several updates regarding the University's strategic planning process [click here for the full message]. Of note, the Stony Brook community is encouraged to submit feedback on a refined vision and set of values
