This Week!

Hours: 4:30am-7pm
Main Gate Loop

Help give a happy holiday to families in need with the 2019 CHiPs 4 Kids Toy Drive.
You can help by dropping off a new unwrapped toy this Friday at Cal Expo. Drop off will be at the main gate loop where KCRA 3 and the California Highway Patrol will be on hand to accept the donations.

CHRISTMAS TREE LOT IS OPEN!

Hours: Open 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Open 7 days a week

Come pick out your Christmas Tree from the Foothills Tree Lot at Cal Expo. The lovely folks will be out selling Christmas Trees everyday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. now through December 24. (or while supplies last) Pick from a variety of trees to get the perfect one for you and yours. Snow flocking is also available for the perfect touch of a snowy holiday.

HARNESS RACING

Friday and Saturday Nights

6:15pm

Place your bets and have some fun! Join us at the Miller Light Grandstand for the excitement of harness racing with FREE Admission and Parking. The season continues through December every Friday and Saturday beginning at 6:15 p.m. Join us for $2 nights the last Saturday each month during Harness season; hot dogs, beer, wine and soda are only $2!

Almond Conference

The Almond Conference is the perfect place to grow your knowledge of production, research, marketing program updates, global and technical regulations, food quality and safety and more. With more than 30 sessions, 100 speakers, and 250 exhibitors, there is something for everyone!

HOUSEWARMING FOR THE HOMELESS DONATION DRIVE

In 2018, Sacramento Self Help Housing was tasked with opening 30 additional houses for recently homeless individuals and families in Sacramento.To assist with their transition onto a path of sustainable, independent, permanent housing, Sacramento Self Help Housing is asking for donations of linens and small appliances.Donation drop off is from 8a.m.-1p.m at Cal Expo Main Gate Loop. SALVATION ARMY FOOD AND TOY DISTRIBUTION

DECEMBER 23rd

Salvation Army distribution days are December 20th and 21st for families in need of food and Christmas gifts this season. Visit www.salarmysacto.org for more information or call 916-669-2302.

ARDEN FAIR FREE PARKING

Now - December 24th

9:30am - 2pm

This weekend and daily through December 26, avoid the Arden Mall parking rush and park at Cal Expo. Shuttles run throughout the day and night to make sure you get to the Mall and back to your car comfortably. Shuttles will run everyday the week before Christmas. Make sure to take advantage of this great offer for FREE!

To start out the new year Cal Expo will host several exciting events in the month of January. Look for the Great Train Show on January 4th & 5th, Bridal Showcase on January12th, the Sacramento Home and Landscape Expo on January 16th-19th, the International Sportsmen's Expo on January 17th-20th, and The Northern Home and Garden Lanscape expo on January 24th-26th.
