FAQs

Today is opening day at Okemo! Before you join us for the 2020-21 season, please take a few minutes to read these FAQs regarding your season, pass, and gear. We're looking forward to welcoming you all back. Think snow!

Ensuring Your Pass Is Active

Just as last year, the media card you were last in possession of is the one that will be loaded with this year’s employee lift access. To ensure this can happen, a few steps need to be completed (and may already be):

Ensure you have submitted your background check form. This was sent directly to all returning staff via vailresortscareers@vailresorts.com
Complete all required notices via Epic Employee: go to “Take Action”, select “Required Notices”, electronically sign the Ski/Activity Waiver & Employee Guide Acknowledgment

Employee Dependents may need to be uploaded again. Detailed info on this process and how to get them verified can be found in DirectConnect, case number KB0030482.

Employee Coupons are not currently available for pick-up. We will communicate with staff when they become available. Once distributed, the earliest those coupons may be used is 12/8 due to Passholders only from opening day to 12/7. More info can be found in DirectConnect, case number KB0010348. Included is new guidance for the season on how to redeem these coupons.

If an employee needs a new media card or was recently hired, they can visit the Jackson Gore Ticket Window from 10-3, 7 days a week until the Jackson Gore Base Area opens. We will provide further guidance once the Jackson Gore Base area opens.

Collecting a Thermometer

We have thermometers available for each staff member to complete daily health screenings. You are welcome to use your own if you prefer, otherwise please collect one from your supervisor on your first day of work.

On your first day of work, please complete the health screening before arriving onsite.

Part-Time Instructors: Collecting Remaining Items from Locker Rooms

If you still have personal belonging in locker rooms, it’s time to collect them. Staff will not be able to walk into lockers rooms without making an appointment. Please email your supervisor to set up a time for pick-up:

Collecting Uniforms

Uniforms is issuing returning staff pieces in batches to our department. We will be receiving them in order of your first days of work, and will be available within a short window of that date.
