Thursday, October 19 | 12-1pm | Wear Purple for Spirit Day

Stop by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and OutLaw table on the Esplanade for a purple baggie with goodies and donuts.

Spirit Day started in 2010 and the color purple symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag. As many as 9 out of 10 lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students have been bullied, according to the National School Climate Survey. One way we can show support for the LGBT youth is by wearing purple on Oct. 19.

Trick-or-Treat Around the World

International Candy Trick-or-Treat in the Multicultural Center. Student organizations are invited to bring candy from around the world to share with others. Small candy trays will be provided for candy placement. Email Alejandra at alejandra.hernandezperez@lls.edu for questions.
