Inspired by recommendations from the African American/Black Coaches’ Caucus and in partnership with Wiley College, we have created a series of free resources to help you celebrate Black History Month.

Black Playwrights and Authors » Looking for new literature for speech events? Check out our initial list of nearly 100 works by Black authors, compiled in partnership with Wiley College.

Speech and Debate Day

March 2 is National Speech and Debate Education Day! To reach our goal of expanding the size and scope of NSDE Day in 2018, we need your team's help! We recently sent an email to your coach outlining how your team can participate at a local level. We are asking each team to sign up to participate and, in return, we will provide participating teams with additional resources.

Talk to your coach and sign up to become an ‘NSDE Day Captain’ for your team’s efforts!
