News for NIH Resubmissions

As a reminder, NIH no longer requires applicants to identify substantial scientific changes within the text of resubmission by brackets, indents, or typography changes. NIH advises all applicants to outline additions, deletions, and changes in the introduction of the resubmission. (NOT-OD-15-030 )

PMCID Numbers and Biosketches

Anyone submitting an application, proposal or report to the NIH must include the PMC reference number (PMCID) when citing applicable papers they author or that arise from their NIH-funded research. NIH Public Access Policy

NIH Guideline Updates on Human Subjects

NIH has made substantive changes on how Human Subjects information is compiled in NIH submissions, as of 01/25/18. New E-Forms are designed to make distinction between the use of de-identified data and specimens, human subject research, and clinical trials. New Human Subjects form
