Mason Nation Thriving Together: 5K (In-Person & Virtual)
Saturday, October 29th from 9:00AM Merten Hall
George Mason University will be hosting the annual Mason Nation Thriving Together 5K Run on Saturday October 29th, 2022, at Merten Hall on the GMU Fairfax campus. This is an in-person and virtual event that is open to anyone who is studying, working, and connected to GMU, but family members, friends, avid runners, and everyone else are also welcome! This is not a race (unless you would like to challenge yourself), but a time for us to be physically active and to connect with our community. All the funds go to helping Mason students, and this year fundraising is to support the Mason Counseling and Psychological Services Fund. Participating in the 5K will not only be a fun way to spend your Saturday, but it will also help you practice putting your physical health forward – whether you are a stay-at-home person or frequent exerciser – and support and build the Mason community.
Please make sure to register online and bring anything necessary you use to exercise – such as water, sunscreen, sunglasses/hat, and wear comfy running shoes.
