In her role as Title IX coordinator and equal opportunity officer, Sandra Braedt leads Puget Sound’s efforts to address sex-based discrimination and harassment, including support for victims, trainings, and resources for the campus community. Braedt had a career in finance before making the switch to higher education in 2009. Since joining the staff in 2019, she’s helped the university to comply with updates to Title IX regulations and equal opportunity laws, to enforce Puget Sound’s anti-discrimination policies, and to champion a campus culture where discrimination and harassment are unacceptable.
