FLC hosts panel event for future Indigenous business leaders

Fort Lewis College hosted the Success for Native America 2022 panel, an event created by Swarvoski Little from First Southwest Bank and FLC faculty members to combat the inequities facing future Indigenous business leaders.

The Geosciences Department sent 11 Geology students to a meeting of the Geological Society of America in Las Vegas, Nevada, to present their senior research projects. The students presented in poster sessions and two of them gave talks.
Always seizing opportunities for hands-on learning, the professors made pitstops during the long drive home at several classic Colorado Plateau geology landmarks, including Lee's Ferry, AZ, the Grand Staircase, and the Hurricane Fault.
