The 2024-25 FAFSA was released back in December, and students across Oklahoma should start receiving their financial aid offers within the next few weeks. At UCanGo2.org, we want to make sure you and your parents understand everything you need to know when that offer comes, so you don’t miss out on any important aid for which you might be entitled.

To help students and parents, we have created the Understanding Your Financial Aid Offer PowerPoint presentation, available at UCanGo2.org.

This presentation will help you understand what you’re being offered, how to prioritize which aid to accept, and what to do if your offer doesn’t cover your cost of attendance.

Your financial aid offer may include both federal and state aid. To find descriptions of the financial aid programs offered at most schools, check out the Are You Looking for Money? publication. This booklet lists all types of financial aid as well as tips for finding and applying for scholarships.
