» McGraw Unstaged: Tim McGraw is pairing with Oscar-nominated director Bennett Miller  but not for a movie. Bennett (Moneyball, Capote) will direct McGraw's 9pm ET Sept. 16 concert from New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom in American Express Unstaged. The concert is on the same day McGraw's album Sundown Heaven Town album is released and will be streamed live here.

"Bennett is such an incredibly talented director and I'm excited that we get to work together on the next 'Unstaged,'" said McGraw. "I have a tremendous amount of respect for him and his work. I know with his unique, creative point of view, this will be a really special experience for me and my fans on the day my album comes out." This won't be just any concert. Here are a few unique components of Unstaged:

  • Before Sept. 16, fans can visit amexunstaged.com to see McGraw telling the stories behind some of his songs.
  • If enough fans tweet using #AmexUNSTAGED leading up to and during the concert, they will unlock an encore performance. They can also vote on what that song is.
  • Throughout the live show, fans can control how they watch the show by switching between the director's main stream and alternate points inside the venue.

» Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Love And Theft's Stephen Barker Liles and his fiancée Jenna Michelle Kennedy, who tied the knot Sunday (8/24) in Nashville. The ceremony included a dedication for their son Jett Barker Liles. "Stephen and Jenna had a beautiful ceremony and baby dedication that brought their guests to tears," said wedding planner Alex Bovee of Vision In White Events. "The drapery and lighting set a romantic tone for the evening, which was all tied together by the décor and flowers that Jenna picked out for the reception. Following the ceremony was a cocktail hour and reception, with cupcakes and other desserts from the Painted Cupcake. DJ Mindub and Popcorn Sutton's Moonshine kept the party going." Guests included Love And Theft member Eric Gunderson, his wife Emily and their son Camden … and at least one country wedding crasher (see below).

» More Martina: If you missed your chance to see Martina McBride on her Everlasting Tour this summer, don't worry  she's just added 40 more dates for the fall. When you go, you'll hear songs from McBride's Everlasting album, in which she puts her spin on pop and R&B classics from the '50s through the '70s. Songs in the set include the Supremes' "Come See About Me," Van Morrison's "Wild Night" and Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long." She won't disappoint country purists, either. There's a satisfying dose of her own hits in the show, including "A Broken Wing," "Independence Day" and "This One's For The Girls." Backing McBride is an 11-piece band. "We've worked hard to put together a show that is visually entertaining as well as very rich musically," says McBride. "There's so much for the audience to see and experience."

» Cold As Ice: You probably thought you'd already seen everyone in the country community do the Ice Bucket Challenge, but you were wrong. Martina McBrideJon PardiKelly Clarkson, Mark Wills, The Farm and Aaron Watson are among those who've accepted challenges to dump buckets of ice water over themselves in the name of ALS awareness and fundraising.

» Hurts So Good: Whether you like to do a little "Day Drinkin'" or you prefer your cocktails after the sun goes down, either way you'll be feeling all warm and fuzzy on Little Big Town's The Pain Killer Tour. Monday morning (8/25) the foursome unveiled their Pain Killer album cover and tour dates for the 13-city stretch, which kicks off Nov. 8 in Youngstown, OH. They'll be joined by opening acts Brett Eldredge and Brothers Osborne. "We are so excited to share Pain Killer and get on the road for this tour," said LBT's Karen Fairchild. "Kimberly, Phillip, Jimi and I are thrilled to have such amazing openers in Brett and Brothers…we're big fans." "The band is so stoked about this record that we've been playing new songs all summer," added Fairchild's husband, LBT's Jimi Westbrook. "We can't wait to play the whole thing, along with our hits the fans know and love this November." See all the dates here.

» Your Name Here: Last Friday (8/22) on TodayHunter Hayes performed his hits "Tattoo" and "I Want Crazy" before revealing his Tattoo (Your Name) Tour, which kicks off Oct. 30 in University Park, PA [full list of dates here]. Hayes will be joined by Dan + Shay and The Railers. He recently took his opening acts to Nashville's Safe House Tattoo Studio. In addition to making them sing a 1979 Sister Sledge song, did Hayes also convince them get a tattoo? Did he get inked? Watch here to find out.

» Wedding Crashers: Maybe Love And Theft's Stephen Barker Liles should've done a head count at his recent wedding to Jenna Michelle Kennedy. Looks like a couple of people snuck in! Chase Rice posted this photo of he and his tour manager at the nuptials. "Crashin' the [expletive] outta @StephenBLiles wedding with @John_Lessard," he tweeted.
