Message from the Associate Dean and Extension Director

In the Cooperative Extension System (CES), people tend to work hard and invest themselves heavily.  While that is commendable, it is also important for us all to strive to reach a good balance between our professional and personal lives.

In an effort to maintain a “fresh” and energetic perspective, which is conducive to creativity and productivity, each of us need to strike a reasonable balance in our devotion of time and energies to work and personal activities and responsibilities.  This time of year, it is common for people to take a break from their professional responsibilities and pursue some free time with family and friends with a vacation or personal leave time.

I encourage everyone to find a place in your professional calendar where you can take some time away and enjoy the time with family, friends, and activities that are vital to us all.  This balance in work and life is a healthy goal.

We want them to join our team!  The position will be located in Yuma and is jointly funded by YCEDA and CALS Research.  Apply at  https://uacareers.com/postings/29593.  First review is July 9.
