Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio Medicaid Update
Partners For Kids and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio’s Medicaid plan have reached agreement to work together. While many aspects of the agreement are still in negotiation, we do not expect the agreement to include the Partners For Kids’ West region at this time. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

Fourth Annual Quality Improvement Awards
Partners For Kids is excited to announce the recipients of our fourth annual Quality Improvement Awards, modeled after Partners For Kids’ One Team Values. The community practices receiving these awards exemplify each of the values and have shown commitment to continuous improvement in quality outcomes for their work with their patients in 2022. Redetermination FAQ: What can I do if a patient loses coverage?
Patients who lose their coverage due to Medicaid redetermination may be referred to Get Covered Ohio. Get Covered Ohio navigators can assist with the appeal process or can help to find other affordable insurance options through the federal or state marketplace. SparkRx Pilot Program
Partners For Kids is looking for organizations that would like to participate in a pilot program for SparkRx. SparkRx is a phone app from Limbix Health Inc. that supports youth ages 13-21 with depression symptoms. The pilot is free to practices and patients. If your practice is interested in learning more about the app and/or the pilot, please email Tina.Mooney@NationwideChildrens.org.

Register Now! Behavioral Health in Primary Care Symposium
Partners For Kids is hosting a Behavioral Health in Primary Care Symposium on Wednesday, October 4, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The interactive, virtual event will feature sessions on PTSD and trauma, suicide prevention, eating disorders, interfacing with schools, ASD, and more. Presenters will discuss ways to support patients with a variety of behavioral health diagnoses in the primary care setting, first line strategies, when to make referrals, and what post-referral support looks like.

Functional Constipation Management Guidelines Update
Partners For Kids is committed to continually bringing you up to date and accurate information regarding guidelines. We discovered an error on the medication dosage table located within the guidelines for treating functional constipation and we have updated it with this new version. Ongoing Stimulant Shortage Information and Resources
In the summer of 2022, the first reported stimulant medication shortage was amphetamine mixed salts (Adderall IR/ER®). Since then, the shortages have grown, which has adversely impacted patients, providers and the health care system. View an update on the shortage and tips on prescribing stimulants during this time.

Immunizations by Pharmacists Ending After the Public Health Emergency Expires
