Welcome back to campus, American Studies community! I hope everyone got some downtime to relax and recharge this summer. I'm excited about another school year and hope you are too. I'm also happy to welcome a whole new building—2106 G Street—to the American Studies family (the townhouse right next door to 2108!). It will bring faculty closer together and allow our PhD students to have offices for the first time. A win-win!
Best of luck to everyone as the semester begins, and I look forward to seeing you around both our buildings soon.
