Joseph Nelson ’12, co-founder and CEO of Roboflow, delivered a keynote address at Iowa Startup Week on Sept. 30 at the Temple Theater in Des Moines. Five seniors in Dowling Catholic's Career Academy—Drew Baker, Isabella Crouch, Manny Duran Ruiz, Nyanyout Ruach and Truman Sanders—attended the keynote alongside DCHS president Dr. Dan Ryan and Career Academy Director Kasey Tickel. It was a great opportunity for students to learn from an alumnus making an impact in his field.

THE MAROON FUND Support the people, programs, and resources that make a Dowling Catholic education possible. From faith formation and dedicated teachers to technology, classroom resources and support services, the Maroon Fund helps provide the exceptional education our families value.
While ESAs have helped make a Catholic education more affordable, they do not cover the full cost of educating a student. The Maroon Fund helps bridge the $3,316 gap per student.Â
To make a gift, please visit our website or mail a check to DCHS, 1400 Buffalo Road, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Thank you for your support! Â
