Earlier this month, during Homecoming & Family Weekend, Brian Brendel ’91, Danita Erickson ’94, Jeff Halstead ’00, Julie Vanni ’02, and the 2003 Women's Crew Team were inducted into the Puget Sound Athletics Hall of Fame, joining 123 student-athletes representing 100 years of Logger excellence.

What's Jesus Got to Do With It?

Author and scholar Ann Holmes Redding delivered the Fall Swope Lecture. Redding's lecture reflected on the ways the figure of Jesus is used to create and sustain a "cultural Christianity" that is often at odds with the ways Jesus is understood in scriptural and historical contexts. The Swope Lecture series brings speakers to campus to engage with issues related to faith, ethics, values, and religion.
