Dear Rising 7th-grade Families,

As I shared last week, we are excited to introduce new elective courses at TMI next year! In addition to their elective class, students will also have an advisory and study hall period. During this time, they will engage in a new social-emotional learning curriculum while also developing essential study skills and time management strategies.

Student registration officially begins on Wednesday, February 5th. However, on Wednesday, January 29th, Middle School students will receive a Google Form from our Student Office Manager, Mrs. Griffin. This form will allow students to select their World Language and elective preferences. Since elective spots are limited, we ask that each student select their top three choices.

Additionally, all 7th-grade students will take part in WISER 101, a semester-long course focused on digital literacy and student leadership.

To assist in the decision-making process, Mrs. Griffin has created a website where you can explore elective options and review next year’s course offerings for your child.
