RKSTC Art Show and Auction Today-Sunday!

The Rachel Kay Stevens Therapy Center (RKSTC) is hosting its 6th-annual art show and auction online today, Friday, August 26 – Sunday, August 28, at 5:00 pm. This event benefits the pediatric pro-bono occupational therapy clinic at UTHSC, which serves the uninsured and underinsured in the Mid-South. 100 art pieces created and donated by children in the community who receive OT services, as well as by local artists and others are available for auction.

Do you know an exemplary faculty member who represents the principles of inclusion, equity, and diversity? Someone who demonstrates this commitment through conduct or by means of their service, outreach, or research? Members of the UTHSC community, including students, trainees, staff, and faculty, are encouraged to nominate one or more candidates they believe practice these principles! The deadline is September 9 at 5:00 pm.

The Memphis Medical District Collaborative celebrates 901 Day Thursday, September 1, from 5-9 pm, with the launch of Rockwalk, a free event that celebrates Memphis’s rich musical talent and the local businesses in the Edge District near UTHSC. Outdoor performances, specials at restaurants and retail establishments, and more.

Come test out your medical knowledge at the Memphis Student Nurse Anesthetist Foundation (MSNAF) Trivia Night on Thursday, September 29, at Grind City Brewing from 6 to 9 pm. Admission is $5. All proceeds will go to the MSNAF Scholarship Fund.
