Steve Sumner is a leader.  He is a nonprofit executive director, an artist, an advocate and an engaged community member.  His town of Evergreen is undergoing a transformation this summer with the opening of the Center for the Arts.  The Center’s capital campaign has raised $2 million and included the purchase of a building and the awarded status of a Jefferson County Historic Landmark.

A cultural gathering place, this new facility will include 5,000 square feet of enhanced instructional, studio, and modern gallery space, artistic programming for families, live performance space, a gift shop, reception area, and administration offices.

Steve is an alumni of the Nonprofit Leadership & Management Program, a 9 month co-hort based learning opportunity designed for emerging nonprofit executive directors to expand leadership capabilities, master new management techniques, and cultivate meaningful professional relationships.

Congratulations Steve on your many accomplishments!
