CCFCS Launches Cutting Edge Program in Integrated Care

In January, CCFCS launched a program targeting the integrated health care needs of individuals with a triple diagnosis of intellectual and developmental disability, substance use disorder, and mental illness. Called Tri-D, it is the only program of its kind in New York state and one of just a handful of such programs in the U.S. Tri-D was made possible with a grant from the NYS Office of Addiction and Substance Abuse Supports (OASAS). For more information, contact elizabeth.caton-burm@fcscharities.org.

CCFCS Outreach

CCFCS Outreach

We're proud to unite with the Rochester Hope Service Festival to provide services in the heart of the city. On the first Saturday of every month, you'll find us at St. Michael's church hall in Rochester. Pictured here are staff from our Community Oriented Recovery Services program, representing CCFCS in February.

Health Care Hero

Congratulations to CCFCS employee Teresa O'Connor, who was named a 2024 Health Care Hero by the Rochester Business Journal. Teresa is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the primary healthcare provider for residents of CCFCS' substance use treatment homes. In February she was honored at the Health Care Hero awards ceremony.

See Their Stories

Since the start of the Ukraine war in February 2022, CCFCS has acted as our community's primary assistance hub for newly arriving Ukrainians seeking safe haven in the Greater Rochester area, helping to resettle more than 1251 Ukrainian men, women and children. You can watch the testimonials of Ukrainian refugees on our web-based program called See Their Stories. To learn how you can help, click here
Green Team OPWDD Communtiy Pre-Voc

CCFCS Green Team

With the support of the NYS Office of People with Developmental DIsabilities and its Community Pre-Vocational Program, CCFCS has begun an agency-wide bottle and can recycling effort. Proceeds collected from returning recyclables are used for purchasing supplies and activities for the clients. It's been a great success, thanks to the initiative of the CCFCS Green Team!

Cleaning Supplies Drive

URGENTLY NEEDED!! We have a high demand for cleaning supplies such as disinfectant wipes and sprays, sponges, dishsoap, brooms, mops, paper towels and more!  Many of our clients lack transportation and are restricted to shopping at local corner stores, which have kept cleaning supply prices high since the pandemic.
