Oregon Outdoor Recreation Network Sunset Report Available

Many of us rely on Oregon’s bountiful natural resources for our livelihoods and wellbeing. Outdoor recreation is a cornerstone industry in Oregon, which is why, five years ago, the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Network (OORN) was formed to support outdoor recreation priorities and grow Oregon’s outdoor recreation economy.
Given the robust landscape of outdoor organizations and initiatives in Oregon, and the prominent role the Oregon Office of Outdoor Recreation’s advisory council will play in outdoor recreation priority setting for the state going forward, the OORN leadership team decided to sunset the network earlier this year. While Travel Oregon will no longer be convening the network, we remain an engaged partner committed to supporting projects and efforts to steward and bolster Oregon’s outdoor spaces. Review the collective accomplishments of the network in detail in the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Network Sunset Report. Reach out to development@traveloregon.com if you wish to partner or connect.
