Elections were held for DYAC officers at our September meeting. Mandy Sell-Stanford, president elect; Brenda Damrow, treasurer; and Nikki Gunst, secretary. Kyle Bunkoske has moved into the president role.
If you haven't done so, already, make sure you get your thank-you cards out the door from awards and such at county fair. In addition, the committee recognizes there are some items that need to be updated in the fair book for next year. Efforts are underway to make that happen.
The next DYAC meeting is Nov. 12, 2024, 7:30 p.m., at the Dodge County Extension Building. We will be discussing judges for the 2025 Dodge County Fair. If you have suggestions, but are unable to attend the meeting, e-mail your name(s) and notes to DYAC.
Questions? Contact DYAC via e-mail: dodgecountydyac@gmail.com.

We Want to Know How 4-H Has Helped You Thrive! |
This fall, Wisconsin 4-H will be encouraging members (ages 13-18) to complete a survey about their 4-H experience. The survey was developed by National 4-H Leaders (https://helping-youth-thrive.extension.org/) and will help Wisconsin 4-H to learn about the quality of our programs. The information will help to show how 4-H helps young people to learn new things, develop leadership skills, manage goals, set high personal standards, create positive academic attitudes, and other skills that lead to long-term success in life.
The survey will be sent to all Wisconsin 4-H members by e-mail in the first week of October. Youth who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 gift card!
For more information on the 4-H Thriving Model, visit 4-H Thriving Model – Wisconsin 4-H.
Please keep an eye out for messages and more information about this important survey.

Fall is in the air, and we are so excited to offer a unique field trip experience again! Seeing your smiling faces brings smiles to our faces as we hear the laughter and see the little feet and hands explore the fall outdoors at Ebert’s Greenhouse Village. We are pleased to offer field trips for $8 per student and $6 per chaperone. Classroom teachers are free. The fee includes a hayride, a small pumpkin for students, a craft project, a story, and full access to our play areas. Although many ages enjoy the program and activities, it is especially geared toward pre-kindergarten to 3rd
grade. To book your field trip please call (920)261-5645
