SARAH EVANS
Company Description: JPR is a large PR agency focused on the travel industry, founded in San Diego with her partner in 2005, and opened the NYC office in 2009. Started off with four people, now they have over 75 employees with 40 based in NYC. Offices are also in LA and London.
Professional Profile: Started working in PR in San Diego (moved on a whim with no job!), and after several years at Allison + Partners (now a large global PR agency), moved to NYC, having never even visited, and started work at a PR agency that specialized in travel. Realizing that was her passion, Sarah left that agency in 2009 to launch JPR with a partner.
Education: Attended East Carolina University, and finished degree in International Business in Germany.
Reasons for Joining: Sarah's partner is in YPO and she wanted to join a similar group of peers to confide about wins and challenges, become friends and confidants, and share once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Hobbies/Interests: Sarah's adventurous spirit has always driven her to travel and seek experiences. She is married with three young daughters who all have passports since the age of six weeks, so they travel frequently as a family to experience the world and different cultures. She also enjoys boxing and meditation as a key part of her life.
Passions: She believes in helping others and mentoring young women in particular. She donates, volunteers, and continues to give back, often at the Stamford Hospital working on several committees. Each Christmas her family adopts a family to spend time with during the holiday.

GERRY FOX
Company Description: Gerard Fox Law is a high-end, bicoastal, litigation, arbitration and appellate firm comprised of a diverse group of lawyers recruited from the top law firms and best law schools in the country.
Professional Profile: Began at Covington & Burling in Washington DC, and later to a bicoastal firm, Kaye Scholer. Gerry opened his own firm because of his frustrations with firm overbilling and inefficiencies, as well as their lack of diversity. He opened his practice in 2009 as sole owner and CEO.
Education: B.A. in Accounting, University of Richmond, and Law Degree from Georgetown University.
Reasons for Joining: Gerry learned about EO from Dan Toronto of UBS, and EONY member Domenic Romano, who spoke highly of EO and the connections the members make with each other. He's looking forward to talk to other business owners about the issues they face, and to help establish his law firms's footprint in NYC, which he feels can always do better.
Hobbies/Interests: Gerry is a "very serious Yankees and Knicks fan". He likes to jog and hike, and has a very large family with grandkids, so enjoys his family time. He and his wife are now bicoastal, owning a house in Palos Verdes, CA. and an apartment in Manhattan. He was born and raised in th NY, NJ, Philly areas before heading to college in Richmond.
Passions: He is very passionate about helping the disadvantaged and homeless, and in particular, his firm represents indigent musicians in lawsuits to protect their copyrights.

JEANNINE PARISE
Company Description: VMSA produces conferences and meetups in the contingent labor space that bring bring the global talent ecosystem together to connect and engage. The global talent ecosystem consists of Contingent Workforce Buyers and Suppliers.
Professional Profile: Jeannine started her career out of college at EY where she travelled globally and worked as a consultant. After two years, while working at HP to fix their Y2K leasing system, she started her first business, Foundation Systems, a staffing and solutions company which she sold in 2009. This experience gave her the connections and knowledge to provide training programs and events in the contingent workforce ecosystem.
Education: Bachelors of Business Administration, University of Notre Dame.
Reasons for Joining: Jeannine was previously a member of YEO in San Francisco, and was eager to rejoin the EO community.
Hobbies/Interests/Born & Raised: Born and raised in the Bronx, lived in San Francisco before moving back to NYC. She has 4 children under the age of 9, and her husband works in the business with her. Fun fact: she now lives in the city near Union Square with her family in the apartment that she and three roommates lived in before she was married 10 years ago!
Passions: Passionate about being the best mom and provider for her family, and works at raising kind, smart and giving humans. Jeannine volunteers in her church as a lector and Eucharistic minister.

COREN SHARPLES
Company Description: ShoP Architects was founded in 1996 and has taken an unconventional approach to design, questioning accepted patterns of practice and expanding, where necessary, beyond the architect's traditional roles.
Professional Profile: Founded with classmates from graduate school, Corie's role at ShoP has evolved with the growth of the business,. In addition to leading project design teams, she has taken the lead in business administration and quality control practices of the firm. After 2009, following the economic crisis, the firm began focusing on interior fit-outs and adaptive re-use projects in addition to ground-up projects.
Education: University of Maryland, B.S. in Business & Management, Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, Masters of Architecture.
Reasons for Joining: Referred by former classmate, Heather Aman, who is currently in the Accelerator Program of EONY, Corie felt that as her business has grown, her circle has shrunk, and she rarely gets outside the AEC, Architecture Engineering and Construction world.
Hobbies/Interests/Born & Raised: Born and raised in Washington DC area, enjoys tackling DIY projects, now building a dry-laid stone wall with her son.
Passions: She is passionate about exposing young people to design at an early age, and encourages diversity in the profession. Corie, both personally and through her firm, helps empower communities in the planning and design of their physical environments.

CHI ZHANG
Company Description: Yaso Hospitality Group (YHG) is a hospitality/restaurant management company that owns and manages Yaso Shanghai Street Foods, Yaso Noodle Bar, 8sia foodcourt, and other restaurants and food services. The multi-location, fast, casual food chain specializes in soup dumplings and noodle dishes inspired by the vibrant flavors and swift service of Shanghainese street hawker fare. With 4 locations in Brooklyn and NY, and one soon to open in Jersey City, Yaso is quickly becoming a go-to for authentic Shanghai street food delicacies.
Professional Profile: After college, Chi began work in Business Development and International Relations. Before Yaso, he founded an education company called Counselor Matching Services. In 2015, he opened the first Yaso with high school classmates after finding no Shanghainese fast-casual food options in the US.
Education: Brandeis University, BBA, Columbia University MA.
Reasons for Joining: Referred by EONY member Victor Chan, he is eager to meet other entrepreneurs.
Born/Hobbies/Interests: Born and raised in Shanghai, Chi found his passion for food after years of studies and work in business development and international relations. He lives in Brooklyn, and enjoys travel, cooking, soccer and painting.
