Hi All,
A popular question I have heard again lately is where did you find that? Or why didn’t I see that?
To help you find items, the Focus is put together similar to what the newsletter had been, which includes: general information, hats off, club happenings, leadership, older youth, younger members, mechanical, family home and health, communication and cultural arts, environmental education, shooting sports, animal science, and registration information. I would encourage you to scroll through the information entirely so you don’t miss important information.
In addition, some of the large animal projects also have information on the Extension website, their own Facebook pages or band app groups to help get their information out to the enrolled 4-H families.
If you are missing something, I encourage you to reach out to the chairperson of that group or committee or the Extension office to help you find what you need.
I am hoping that this warmer weather is a sign that spring sunshine and temps will be here to stay soon!
Have a great March!

...to MAS Trivia NightCongratulations and THANK YOU to all who came out to support the 2022 Dodge County MAS Trivia Night that was held on Saturday March 12th 2022 at Waterloo High School. We had 49 Teams playing Trivia; a new record!

- One 50/50 raffle - winner who took home $806 dollars (which is a new record also)
- 400 plus door prizes
Congratulations to our all our winners – 1st and 2nd places were tight, but the winner won Trivia Night with 83 points – congratulations to the Waterloo FFA for defending your title and winning Trivia Night back-to-back years. 2nd Place came in with a score of 82 points.
I can’t list each person who helped on Friday and Saturday for setup for fear that I would leave someone out but, I truly appreciate your dedication to the Livestock Program and your continued support whenever help is needed.
To the cleanup crew that stuck around after Trivia Night was over - you were impressive – it took 5 hours to set up for this event and with all your help we were able to have everything cleaned up within an hour to stay on track.
Thanks again everyone for helping to make “The Best Better” for Dodge County Livestock Youth!

Community Marks the Spot Activity Plan
Community Service has always been a big part of the 4-H program. For the past 3 years, the state has offered a Statewide community service project. This year, it is focused on your community. In this project, youth will plan a non-competitive game that takes players to different locations around their community, like a scavenger hunt. The locations they choose will highlight a special theme the youth want to learn more about, strengthening their sense of belonging. Through the game, players will go on a fun adventure to explore the community.
