First Graduates Celebrated as ‘Golden Ospreys’ at Reunion
|
As the smiling graduates of the Stockton University class of 2024 entered Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in May to celebrate their commencement exercises, they were joined by a distinguished group of fellow Ospreys invited to lead the procession at this year’s ceremony: members of the Stockton class of 1974.
For the first time, Stockton celebrated the 50th anniversary of its earliest graduates with a special event dubbed “Golden Osprey Reunion.” Members of the class of 1974 were invited to lead this year’s commencement procession and to attend a reunion event on campus.

Alumni Volunteers Make an Impact at Stockton this Year
|
From participating in admissions events and career fairs to mentoring students and presenting to classes, more than 250 alumni volunteers have actively engaged in various facets of campus life this year. The spirit of service among Stockton's graduates is strong, supported by Alumni Relations and campus partners who identify potential areas of impact for these dedicated volunteer Ospreys.

The Stockton University Foundation welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors at its June 6 meeting. Steven Cocchi, of Linwood, and Sage Del Valle '20/MBA '21, of Mays Landing, begin their terms immediately.

A Day of Fellowship and Fun in the Sun at Juneteenth Celebration |
All eyes and ears were fixed on New Jersey Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way during Stockton University's annual Juneteenth celebration on Monday, June 17.
As the sun shone on the audience of students, staff and faculty gathered in the Residential Quad of Kesselman Hall in Atlantic City, Way proudly declared, "It's a beautiful Juneteenth to be with Stockton University."
