Biologist Helps “Keep Pulse of International Education Going”

After completing his Fulbright in Honduras last spring, biology faculty member Josiah Townsend had to stay in the country because of travel restrictions during the pandemic. This semester, he’s been teaching his IUP courses from 3,300 miles away. Find out how Townsend is leveraging his logistical challenge to give students an international experience at a time when those opportunities are few.

College Broadcasters, Inc., selected an IUP-TV Sports production of a football victory over Edinboro last November as a finalist for Best Live Sports Broadcast. 
Krys Kaniasty collaborated on “Social Adjustment in New Zealand and Philippine Responders: A Test of Main and Moderating Effects of Received Social Support,” published in the Australasian Journal of Disaster and Trauma Studies.
