2022 President’s Celebration
Last weekend, we celebrated a great year under the leadership of Dr. Brian Sosnin as President and Dr. Monalisa Tailor as Board Chair. We also welcomed Dr. Valerie Briones-Pryor as our incoming President and she said a few words in regards to how she plans to serve our GLMS members in the next year: “We want to serve all our physicians, whether it be the practicing physician, the administrative physician, the retired physician, the newly graduated resident, and even the medical student...We want GLMS to be an integral part of the Louisville community, but GLMS is nothing without its members.”

GLMS Annual Payer Roundtable Recap
GLMS held a Payer Roundtable virtually for the second year in a row on Thurs., May 12, 2022, with panelists from Aetna Better Health, Anthem, Caresource, Humana, Passport by Molina, United Healthcare, Wellcare and The Department for Medicaid Services. The insurance payers answered questions submitted in advance for the entire two hours along with sharing updates and news. In addition to those submitted in advance, we had several questions sent in during the event that we will hold the insurance companies accountable for answering. If you would like to receive a link to the recording of the roundtable or the slides and Q/A, email practice.support@glms.org
Thank you to everyone that attended and we look forward to planning this event for next year in-person.
Here are some of the comments from attendees:
“You do an amazing job keeping the content contained in a 2-hour window. Priceless!”
“In-person is best, but this meeting was organized and efficient.”
“I think this was extremely helpful”
