Walsh University Appoints Dean of Newly Established College of Health Sciences |

Walsh University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kimberly A. Cleveland as Dean of the newly established College of Health Sciences, effective July 1, 2025. In this role she will simultaneously support the School of Behavioral and Health Sciences, and the Gary and Linda Byers School of Nursing, including serving as the Trina Rambo R.N. Dean’s Chair. The new College reflects Walsh’s strategic vision to align and elevate its nationally recognized health programs in response to the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. The University extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Judy Kreye for her outstanding leadership as Dean of the Byers School of Nursing and Interim Dean of the School of Behavioral and Health Sciences and congratulates her on her well-deserved retirement!

Celebrate Hoover History at the Fifth-Annual Hoover Park Festival July 27 |
Bring the whole family out to the fifth-annual Hoover Park Festival on Sunday, July 27 from 1–5 p.m. This free community event celebrates the impact and legacy of The Hoover Company and Hoover employees. Explore the historic Hoover property, listen to history presentations, enjoy an hour-long performance of the Canton Community Band, take train rides (kids and adults), tour the Hoover Historical Center, enjoy food trucks, and watch the Canal Fulton Mules play a vintage base ball game!
