Dear Traveller:

There’s no denying the thermometer: it’s hot out. Fortunately, Transylvania County has some time-honored ways to help you beat the August heat, including ice cream, cold beer, shady forest paths, high elevation trails, breezy performances and various places to stick a hand, a toe or both feet into cool high altitude water.

Summer’s still going strong up here. And with that comes a bundle of events and activities, which means you’re pretty much guaranteed to find something cool to do. Chilling out never looked like so much fun.

 See you in September,

 The Adventurist
