HOW Symposium Event Details

Thank you for joining us for the 2022 Harkin on Wellness (HOW) Symposium in person on Tuesday, March 29!

This year’s symposium will address the shifting focus to nutrition security from food insecurity and how to find lasting solutions to combat hunger and access to healthy, nutritious food.

Parking

Parking is available in the Olmsted Parking lot with a pass. Daily passes are available here. Limited on-street parking is also available in the area.

Schedule

Registration will open at 8 a.m. CT. The program will begin at 9. The formal program will wrap up at around 3:45 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to stay for a short networking reception after the program.

Accommodations

This event will feature ASL interpretation and live-captioning for all general session programming. ASL is available for the breakout sessions upon request. Please contact Emily Schettler, emily.schettler@drake.edu, with additional questions regarding accommodations.

Drake University no longer requires masks to be worn indoors, but we encourage all attendees to follow whatever practices make them most comfortable.
