Central College welcomes the Class of 2030 to campus on Friday, Aug. 21! Do you remember your Move-In Day and Welcome Week?

Reconnect with our community this fall — join the Central Club, attend sports and fine arts events and update your wardrobe with new Central gear at Central Spirit Shoppe or online at BSN Sports .

We also hope you’ll come home for Homecoming , Oct. 2-4. Registration will open in mid-August.

As we celebrate the start of a new academic year, we invite you to do A World of Good through a gift to the Journey Scholarship Fund. The 48-Hour Challenge, from noon Tuesday, Sept. 1, until noon Thursday, Sept. 3, is a great opportunity to make your gift and double your impact.

P.S. If you are in central Iowa, we have a volunteer opportunity at Meals from the Heartland, 1-3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, Des Moines. Help make a difference for individuals experiencing disasters and food insecurity.

Just one year after publicly launching its comprehensive campaign, A World of Good, Central surpassed its original fundraising goal of $50 million. Central has raised $55.8 million and logged more than 13,537 hours of service!

We are looking for new Central faces to feature on our giving days! Challengers inspire other donors to give and unlock matching funds! This year’s giving days include the 48-Hour Challenge, Sept. 1-3; Thankful Thursday, Nov. 19; and Hoo-Rah Day, April 8.
