Lower School Mountain Biking Mini-Session
Join the staff of Virginia Outside as we hit the local mountain bike trails for this fall mini-session. We will visit the James River Park and other area parks over the course of the month. Participants will learn beginner and intermediate mountain biking skills. Bikes, helmets and transportation provided. Participants should be comfortable riding a bike on pavement before signing up for this program.
- Who: Open to boys and girls, 1st- 5th grade
- When: Fridays- Oct. 27, Nov. 3rd, Nov. 10th, Nov. 17
- Time: 3-5 p.m.

Future Leaders Forum for Young Men
Capital One has extended an offer to our eighth grade boys to attend their Future Leaders Forum for Young Men on Saturday, November 4, 2017. This full-day event welcomes eighth and ninth grade boys to their West Creek campus, where they will participate in activities designed to inspire, encourage, and build leadership skills. LS Author Visit
Author Gigi Priebe will visit with our students in grades 1-4 on Thursday, October 26. Ms. Priebe, the author of The Adventures of Henry Whiskers series, will talk about her writing process and the real-life inspiration for her stories.
