The ATTC Network is creating a new structure that will positively impact contingency management, syndemic approaches, recovery support services, integration of primary and behavioral health care, and trauma-informed care in behavioral health spaces. And it's looking for individuals who want to help grow the behavioral health workforce.
Introducing the Partnering to Optimize Workforce Education and Resources, or POWER Teams.
“Our goal with the POWER Teams is to leverage the knowledge, skills and abilities of not only our regional centers, but also of the hardworking professionals in both research and practice,” said Maxine Henry, director of the ATTC Network Coordinating Office (NCO). “The ATTCs are known for our innovative approaches to building the capacity of the behavioral health workforce, the POWER Teams help us continue our work in this space.”
At the core of the ATTC Network’s mission is closing the gap between research to practice in SUD treatment and recovery, using evidence-based practices.
