Dear Class of 2027,
We wanted to reach out with a final reminder of Bricks to Stone, kicking off Friday, April 12th, at 3:30pm. We invite you to watch the personal invitation from President Price above, and hope to see you at the celebration of all you have accomplished throughout your first year at Duke.
We have been watching the weather closely and are hopeful for the skies will be clear for the celebration. In the case of a severe shift in the weather forecast, you will be notified if plans for the event changes.
Here is Friday's schedule of events:
3:30pm-4:30pm Block Party at Karsh Alumni Center
C1 buses will run from 3:15pm until 4:15pm (exit at the Undergraduate Admissions bus stop). Ice cream, snacks, games, and your Quad Cords will be available.
4:30pm-4:45pm Procession to Duke Chapel
Celebrate the transition with a procession from Karsh Alumni Center to Duke Chapel.
4:45pm Class Pinning Ceremony with President Price
At the Chapel, you'll receive your official Duke Class of 2027 pin.
The pinning ceremony will feature remarks from President Price, Vice Provost McMahon, Dean Bennett (Trinity), and Associate Dean Franzoni (Pratt).
5pm-6pm Quad Welcome Parties
Pick up your Quad Merch and spend time with upperclassmen and alumni in your new home.
