Cloud Planets are ethereal glass spheres inspired by actual planets known as "gas giants." Unlike terrestrial planets like Earth and Mars, gas giants such as Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune contain mostly swirling hydrogen and helium.
Josh makes Cloud Planets with clear and translucent glass instead of his more familiar, "signature" New Mexico and Corona glass. The resulting luminous orbs seem more fluid than solid, with wafting mists, intriguing depths, and hidden layers that reflect light in unexpected ways. Many of the spheres in our most recent collection sparkle with dichroic glass or a dusting of platinum or gold.
