FOOTBALL NIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN

You may have noticed that we've been up to a little redecorating...

We are so excited to invite all of our friends, family and neighbors to Mustang Mountain this Friday for the first home football game of the season, that we may have packed it a little too full. Never fear, as we've gathered all of the important information about the evening into this one handy email to help you navigate the unveiling of the new-look turf and track at Simmons Bank Stadium.

We are excited to host our parents, friends and many of our elementary Mustangs tomorrow for our Fall Sports Pep Rally! We will officially kickoff the athletic seasons for Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Tennis and Volleyball. We'll also launch the start of the Marching Band's performance season with a preview of their show. Don't forget to be in your seats in the main gym by 2:45 p.m.

Please note that parking will be very limited on campus. To ensure safety and smooth dismissal, please keep the following in mind:

It's tailgate season! We've invited Tacos Godoy back to the Mountain to join us at the CAC practice field from 5:00-6:30 p.m. The practice field is located behind the field house, so you'll have to enter through the stadium ticket booth to get to the tailgate location. In addition to amazing food available for purchase, we'll have games for the kids so bring out the whole family before the game.

So many details go into preparing for Friday nights. We wanted to make sure you're aware of all you need to know as you enter the parking lot and the stadium.

Please make plans to arrive early, as the first 1,000 guests will receive a Mustang Rally Rag to commemorate the brand new turf and track!

Also, if you or your students want to take part, the Student Council has announced that Friday's dress-up theme will be Purple, so feel free to go all out! In addition, before the game we will honor our 2025-26 State Champion Boys' and Girls' Bowling teams with a ring ceremony!

We are expecting an especially large crowd, so parking will be at a premium. Parking spaces spanning from the front of the ticket booth to the atrium entrance of the Main Campus are only available to those who have pre-purchased a parking pass for varsity football games. We also have a marked area for handicap parking, and you are welcome to drop off your passengers by the ticket booth, we just ask that you be extra mindful of people walking up to the stadium. Shuttle service will be available from overflow parking at Windsong church of Christ and from the lower parking lot in front of Mustang Mountain Elementary. Click the link below to purchase a season parking pass.

As a reminder, we are cashless on The Mountain. All tickets must be purchased via GoFan before your arrival at the gate. We will have QR codes stationed around the ticket booth to ensure you get to the right page for purchase. You may also click the link below to buy a single game ticket or a season pass. Please be nice to our booth crew when they remind you that we are cashless! Remember, all CAC students get in free, so don't count your students when buying tickets.

Kickoff time at Lambert Field is officially 7 p.m., but we've got a lot going on before the first whistle. This Friday begins our newest tradition: the Mustang Stampede! Watch the video below to learn more about this hands-on way to experience the new turf and earn bragging rights before the game even begins.

And don't forget, before and during the game, be sure and visit our Mustang Store underneath the press box for an opportunity to purchase some of our latest fan gear.

Back for the 2026-27 athletic season, Hudl will stream all on-campus home game action to our fans free of charge. If you cannot make it to the game Friday, click the link below to visit our Hudl page and cheer on the Mustangs.

Following the game, all students grades 9-12 are invited to the Fifth Quarter, hosted this week by Windsong church of Christ. Pizza, drinks, games, door prizes and fellowship will be provided. The fun takes place in the church gym and will last until 11:30 p.m.
